Detached homes are in a white-hot seller’s market under $900K, but once prices go higher, sales volume starts to cool. Sellers should note that buyers, despite the competition, remain price-sensitive. Half of San Diego zip codes reported gains in both price and transaction volume in the February-April 2011 quarter.
