Seven Oaks is the original and older of the two senior communities in Rancho Bernardo. It was built in the early 1960s through 1970s. Seven Oaks is a walking community with Seven Oaks Community Center and a neighborhood shopping center nearby. Seven Oaks homes are of two varities, attached townhomes (all on the ground level) and detached single family Seven Oaks homes. Most homes are 2 bedroom, but there are some 3 bedroom homes. Prices of Seven Oaks homes range from the mid $100,000 to the high $300,000. The townhomes have homeowner dues of $220/month and feature complete maintenance. The single family homes have a low $250 a year fee, but you must do the maintenance yourself. Many of the homes in Seven Oaks have rock yards (the desert look) for easy maintenance. See detailed Rancho Bernardo map.
The Seven Oaks Community Center features a large pool, a spa, and a clubhouse. Other activities at the center include croquet, bridge, crafts, exercise classes, ceramics, bunco, book discussion groups and more. Seven Oaks Community Center is located at 16789 Bernardo Oaks Drive in Rancho Bernardo.
