If Ocean Hills Country Club homes are a little expensive for you, you might love  High Country Villas in Encinitas CA.  High Country Villa homes include 2 and 3 bedroom homes, mostly single story.  High Country Villas is built on a hill with a nine hole golf course, sparkling pool, and clubhouse.  The weather in High Country Villas is perfect like most other North County for over 55, active seniors.

Lake San Marcos

Although Lake San Marcos is not designated as a strictly over 55 retirement community, it is a fantastic place to retire and has a lot to offer for the price.  Many Lake San Marcos homes are located on one of the two golf courses or on Lake San Marcos itself.  Many Lake San Marcos homes have lake views, mountain views, or even ocean views.  The majority of the residents of Lake San Marcos are older and most of the homes in Lake San Marcos are single story homes.  The weather and living conditions in San Marcos Ca Homes for sale rival anywhere in California and San Diego.   I live in Lake San Marcos Varadero homes and love it.

While economists and consumers may be uncertain when the bottom will come, there are growing signs that it’s already here or extremely close. The best time to buy a Carlsbad home is now — and here’s why.


It’s hard to tell if the Carlsbad or San Diego North County housing market has reached bottom until prices and sales volume start to rise again. So the best time to buy is when market conditions are indicating the approach of a bottom. Now is the Time to Buy Ocean Hills Real Estate

Pay $150,000 with No Payments for Life

As the California housing market grows more attractive, San Diego North County homebuyers are more optimistic than they were a year ago, according to the latest survey by the California Association of REALTORS®.

While in 2009, only 8% of California homeowners believed their homes would go up in value over the next year, that number has grown to 23% in 2010.  Let’s take a look at why San Diego homebuyers are more optimistic.

  • San Diego Home buying conditions are ideal.   This is especially true for Ocean Hills real estate where there are over 40 Ocean Hills Country Club homes for sale. 
  • Mortgage interest rates are at all-time lows not seen since 1971.
