Oaks North is an premie, senior, over 55 (55+), retirement community located in the San Diego North County community of Rancho Bernardo, a beautiful planned community sprawled across rolling hills. Rancho Bernardo is just south of Lake Hodges and Escondido and is split by Interstate 15. Oaks North is located just east of Pomerado Road and just north of the Greens East Road. The Oaks North Community Center was built in 1972 and is part of a planned development for individuals 55 years of age or older. The Center is located around a large pool and spa area. It has something for almost everyone including a nice size library. Some of the facilities available are a billiard room, sauna, meeting rooms, card room, woodworking and ceramics roooms, and exercise room. Outside the pool area is a lawn bowling court.
