La Costa Resort & La Costa Homes
|
Before there were La Costa homes, there was the world famous La Costa Resort and Spa. A large Las Vegas hotel, the Desert Inn in 1965, bought 3500 acres of scenic natural  area of North County real estate, and started development of the resort, a beautiful golf course, and La Costa homes. With great weather and a perfect location it was sure to be a success. La Costa homes residents and visitors alike enjoy the lush canyons, rolling hills, ocean views, cool breezes, the nearby Pacific Ocean, and beautiful Batiquitos Lagoon. The La Costa Inn was built to house visitors coming to look at the first La Costa homes for sale. The resort grew in fame with the rich and famous and 2000 acres more of Carlsbad North County real estate was added along with a world famous spa. The La Costa Resort and Spa has two 18 hole PGA championship golf coureses (See other San Diego & North County golf courses), 23 tennis courts, and four swimming pools. The resort host the World Golf Championships in August and the Acura Tennis tournament.
